Tultex's wholesale collection also includes a range of blends and shades of t-shirts, hoodies, and tank tops. The corporation changed its name to Tultex in the 1970s and became a major player in the American sportswear industry. Tultex overproduced in the late 1990s, causing a financial crisis. Profile Holdings ultimately bought the Tultex brand and reimagined it.
